This picture is beautiful not only because the captured doll is a beautiful piece of art itself.
Composition and focus on this photo are creating a strange mood together with the mild, almost black and white scale. The fact this picture isn't black and white intrigues viewers eyes so he can't exactly know if it in the end is, or is not black and white.
It's maybe the glowing eyes which gives us a perception of slight remaints of colors in here.
Smooth black make up together with these outstanding mysterious eyes are creating a deep melancholic mood with memories almost visibly attached to it, but unreadable, unspoken.

This is a very precious piece, showing all of your skill in styling an abjd, lighting, focusing and creating a mood in photographs.
